The Federal Reserve made a bold decision in its interest rate decision early this morning, cutting interest rates by two yards in one go and lowering the target range to 4.75% to 5.0%, marking the first interest rate cut in over four years. Chairman Powell emphasized at the press conference after the meeting that the US economy is in good condition and there are currently no signs of recession.
